Fretboard Quiz

Okay, hotshot. You think you know the fretboard pretty well? Find out for sure with this freebie game. We pick the string and fret. You name the note. For example, we say, "string 5, fret 3." You respond with, "C" Full instructions for playing are here.

How to play:

1. Press the Start button.
2. The program will show you numbers for a string and fret on a guitar (in standard tuning). String 1 is the high E string, string 6 is the low E string.
3. Guess the note, and enter guess in box next to "Answer."
4. Press Submit Answer to check your guess.
5. Continue guessing more notes until time runs out.
6. Good luck!
